Advocating for Autism: Leadership Meets with Minister of Health
On September 18, 2025, our Board Chair Mike Richards, Executive Director Lynn Latta, and incoming CEO Julian Tomlinson met with Hon. Jeremy Cockrill, Minister of Health, to discuss initiatives to expand access and supports for autistic individuals and their families across Saskatchewan.
This meeting was an important step in our ongoing advocacy efforts. We highlighted the growing demand for services across Saskatchewan, the urgent need for sustainable funding, and the opportunities to strengthen programs that empower autistic children, youth, and adults to thrive.
Our leadership team expressed deep gratitude for the chance to share the voices and needs of the autism community directly with the Ministry of Health. We remain committed to working collaboratively with government and community partners to ensure that individuals with autism, and their families, feel supported, valued, and included.
At Autism Services, we believe that with the right support, every individual has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. We look forward to continuing these conversations and turning vision into action. 💙
