Embracing Inclusion, Celebrating Strengths
April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month, and we’re excited to celebrate with a variety of events and activities! This month holds special significance in the autism community, with World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 (as recognized by the United Nations) and the the City of Saskatoon officially proclaiming April as Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month.
To promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we’ve planned engaging activities throughout the month:
- April 2 – Light It Up for Autism!
- April 1-30 – “Shining Bright” Colouring Contest
- April 1-30 – Window Walk for Autism
- April 3, 9, 14, 16, 22, 24 and 29 – Online Information Sessions
- April 25 – Yoga & Mindfulness Session for Moms
- April 26 – Art Painting Session hosted by The Art Ink Room
On April 2, in honor of World Autism Awareness Day,
supporters around the globe light up their homes or businesses!
We encourage multicolored lights or lights in whatever color you choose.

The Autism Window Walk is for individuals, families,
and businesses decorate their windows and show their support for Autism.

Throughout April, we will be offering information sessions
tailored to each of our programs, providing details on services.
During these sessions, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may
have about our programs and how they can support you or your loved ones.

The online sessions is FREE and open to anyone who wants to learn more about our services.
All sessions will take place from 12 PM to 1 PM

for moms and their child! There are 20 spots available—so don’t miss out!

Price: $29.00 fee includes admission for one mom and one child to participate in the art session together.
