Sask Election Debate On Desability
The Disability Income Support Coalition (DISC), in collaboration with RPIRG, is hosting an Election Debate on Disability. This debate will provide a platform for leaders from Saskatchewan’s major political parties to present their positions on disability issues — particularly on income support and share their commitments to improving the SAID benefits and other areas of social services concerning people with Disability in this province.
DISC’s objective is to ensure that the voices of individuals with disabilities are heard in the upcoming provincial election and to gain clarity on the parties’ stances on disability income support program.
Date: Monday, October 21st
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (1 hour reserved for Q/A and Public Interaction)
Location: Multipurpose Room, Riddell Centre at the University of Regina (with virtual access for all voters in Saskatchewan)
